To Start:

• Put your name on your copy of the checklist.
• Turn it over. On the list of chapters to read, cross of "Night Life."
• Open Powerschool.
• Check off all of the items you have grades for.
• Turn in anything you have finished but still outstanding.

In Class:
Quiet work time! You need to finish:

• Printing and sending your final thank you notes.
• Reading and responding to "Good Form."
• Making and highlighting your Gulf of Tonkin essay revisions.

For Homework:

• Finish reading all of the assigned stories from The Things They Carried.
• Finish your essay revisions, highlight them, and turn them in via Google Classroom.

To Start:

1. What are three conclusions you can draw based on this graph?
2. What are three possible explanations for the trend in this graph? 

In Class:
We're going to be critiquing our thank you letters.

1. Give Ally one copy of your letter.
2. Get a colored pen or pencil.
3. Sit with your group.
4. Pass the other of your letter to the person on your left.
5. Put a star by your favorite sentence in the letter.
6. Underline a sentence that could be improved.
7. Write at least one helpful, specific suggestion at the bottom of the paper.
8. Circle all of the spelling, grammar, punctuation and capitalization errors that you can find.
9. Return the letter to it's rightful owner.
10. Incorporate your edits into your own letter.

Then, you'll have time to read and respond to "Speaking of Courage." 
Read "Notes" for a challenge extension. (Strongly recommended for seminar prep.)

For Homework:

• Give a final draft of your thank you letter to your group communication person by Thursday. 
• Read and respond to "Speaking of Courage" and "Notes" by Thursday.
• Essay revisions are due in Google Classroom on Friday.
