Art Project Proposal Conferences

To Start:

• Get your binder and your "mail."
• File your portrait and scavenger hunt under "Classwork."
• Draw a horizontal line across your starter/closer page, and title it "Starter - January 5th."
• Write at least five lines in response to this photo. Do not rewrite the questions. You can:
  • Explain what you think is happening in this photograph, or
  • Imagine a "story" for one of the people in the photograph, or
  • Journal about your gut reaction to the photograph.

In Class:

• Set a goal for the day on your starters document.
• Sign up for a conference with Ally.
• Begin working on your art project.

To Close:

• File your "Project Proposal" in classwork and "Art Project Overview" in resources.
• Draw a horizontal line across your starter/closer page, and title it "Closer - January 5th."
• Answer the following questions:
  • What did you accomplish on your art project today?
  • What will you work on for your art project tonight?
• Turn your starter/closer into the box.
• Shelve your binder.

At Home:
Work on your art project for at least twenty minutes.
