My hopes for this year's humanities class are to have a good balance of subjects/projects that I need to learn and that I want to learn. I would like to put all I can into each project and work on my procrastination. I'd like this year to be as fun and exciting as possible, even if that comes with some stress. (Stress can be good in moderation.)

I am excited for all of the new projects. leaving all the bad experiences from freshman year and starting new for sophomore year. I hope that I will improve getting my work done on time.

I am interested in what this new schedule/classes will bring and if I will not only adapt easily to it, but if I will enjoy it. I am excited to see what new things I will learn this year in Humanities class, and what I can add on to some of my knowledge from last years. In humanities class this year, I hope to expand my perspective and knowledge of the world around me. I hope to have my views challenged through thoughtful conversations with my peers. I hope to have meaningful discussions and disagreements that cause me to think and push me to reshape my understanding of a topic. My hope for this year is to work on refinement. I believe that all my work from last year needed more refinement. I struggle with reading over my work and finding errors. I can improve on this by asking my teacher, peers, and family to read over my work before I turn it in.

This year in th class humanities 10 in probably most excited about how we combine both of the ideas of social studies and language arts so we can learn and use both at the same time. DHS didn't do this and I think it's a creative way to teach both subjects.
